If you suffer a financial loss because of fraud or negligence committed by a stockbroker, investment advisor, or other financial professional, you may have a claim against that firm or individual for the amount of your loss. These financial professionals may use any one of dozens of names for themselves (e.g., stockbroker, financial consultant, financial planner, investment advisor, financial advisor, etc.), but they all have one thing in common - they have a duty to recommend only suitable investments to you, without stretching the truth about any important facts that you might rely on in making your investment decision.
Governmental agencies may be able to punish the financial professional for their wrongful conduct, but may not be very helpful in recovering your money. In that case, you may choose to bring an action on your own, and a securities fraud attorney may be able to help you in that effort.
Rob Bleecher is a securities fraud attorney who may be able to help you recover losses. You may be able to bring securities litigation to court, or you may be required to proceed in the securities arbitration process in a forum run by the securities industry trade association known as FINRA (formerly called NASD), in which the financial professional is a member.
The Pecht securities arbitration and litigation team will review and evaluate your case at no charge to you. If you decide to hire us, and if we agree to take your case, we will often proceed on a "contingent fee" basis. That means that if we do not recover money for you, you do not pay us for our work. In this way, even investors with relatively minimal losses - although major losses to them - can afford to seek justice for the misconduct of their investment professional. To obtain a review of your case, or to speak with us, complete the form here or contact us by phone, mail or email.
